LAB

Antel Open Digital Lab (AODL) emerges as a national and open epicenter, dedicated to forging a robust digital core, specialized in the validation and adoption of emerging technologies, particularly in the field of 5G.

It is a place to explore, experiment and develop new solutions to the challenges of today's world, within a meticulously controlled and at the same time highly flexible testing environment.

This laboratory provides fertile ground, where concepts are tested and initial prototypes are built with a clear vision towards commercialization.

AODL is positioned as a catalyst for the development of pilot projects, validating and polishing new technologies relative to connectivity and promoting the creation of innovative services.

AODL creates a propitious environment to redefining paradigms in multiple sectors, sharing the philosophy of collaboration and open technological exploration.

The National Telecommunications Administration (ANTEL, as per its acronym in Spanish), the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining (MIEM, as per its acronym in Spanish), the National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII, as per its acronym in Spanish), the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU, as per its acronym in Spanish) and the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (CUTI, as per its acronym in Spanish) participate as Founding Partners of this initiative.

In turn, ODL has strategic alliances that contribute to the development of different LAB initiatives.
